Privacy policy regarding the rules of processing information about the Users of the District Bicycle System, including their personal data and cookies.

- Providing data in the Service is voluntary but necessary to provide the service.
- As part of the service, it is necessary to provide the following personal information: name, surname, PESEL, residential address, telephone number, e-mail address.
- Mobile applications provided by the Operator, such as Nextbike application, Veturilo, as well as some of the Operator’s websites, such as www.veturilo.waw.pl or www.bikerbialystok.pl, may use the location data of the User’s device (computer, cell phone, tablet, etc.). The Operator processes location data in particular in order to provide the User with a map indicating the nearest Nextbike bike stations. The User is informed of any other purposes for processing location data in separate information clauses.
- The Operator, within the scope of the data described in point 10 is the Administrator of this data.
- The Service uses personal information for the following purposes:
- handling inquiries via the form,
- provision of ordered services,
- presentation of an offer or information.
- The Service performs functions to obtain information about Users and their behavior in the following ways:
- through voluntary data entered in the forms, which are entered into the Operator’s systems,
- by storing cookies on final devices.
- Selected data protection methods used by the Operator.
- The login and entry points for personal data are protected in the transmission layer (SSL certificate). This ensures that the personal and login data entered on the website are encrypted on the User’s computer and can only be read on the target server.
- User passwords are stored in hashed form. The hash function works unidirectionally – it is not possible to reverse its operation, which is now the modern standard for storing user passwords.
- Operator periodically changes its administrative passwords.
- The Operator regularly makes backup copies for data protection purposes.
- An important element of data protection is the regular updating of any software used by the Operator to process personal data, which in particular means regular updates of programming components.
- Hosting.
- The service is hosted (technically maintained) on the Provider’s servers: AWS – Amazon Web Services.
- Your rights and additional information about how we use your data.
- In some situations, the Administrator is entitled to transfer your personal data to other recipients if it is necessary for the performance of a contract concluded with you or for the fulfillment of obligations incumbent upon the Administrator. It concerns such groups of recipients:
- hosting company on a trust basis,
- operators of online chat solutions,
- Authorized employees and associates who use the data to fulfill the purpose of the site.
- Your personal data processed by the Administrator for no longer than it is necessary for the performance of related activities specified in separate regulations (e.g. pursuing claims for up to 3 years, keeping accounts for up to 6 years, until the execution of withdrawal of consent).
- With regard to marketing data, the data will not be processed for longer than 3 years.
- You have the right to request from the Administrator:
- access to personal data concerning you,
- their rectifications,
- deletions,
- limitation of processing,
- and data portability.
- You have the right to object to the processing of personal data for the purposes of pursuing the legitimate interests pursued by the Controller, including profiling, with the proviso that the right to object will not be exercisable where there are valid legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, in particular the establishment, assertion or defence of claims.
- The Administrator’s actions may be complained about to Prezesa Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa.
- Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary to operate the Service.
- Actions based on automated decision-making may be taken in relation to you, including profiling for the purpose of providing services under the concluded agreement and for the purpose of direct marketing by the Administrator.
- Personal data is not transferred from third countries as defined by data protection legislation. This means that we do not transfer them outside the European Union.
- Information on the forms.
- The Service collects information voluntarily provided by the User, including personal information, if provided.
- The service can save information about connection parameters (time stamp, IP address).
- Service, in some cases, may save the information to facilitate linking the data in the form with the e-mail address of the user completing the form. In such a case the User’s e-mail address shall appear inside the url of the page containing the form.
- The data provided in the form are processed for the purpose resulting from the function of a particular form, e.g. to complete the process of service request or business contact, service registration, etc. Each time the context and description of the form informs in a clear way what it is used for.
- Operator Logs.
- Information about Users’ behavior on the website may be subject to logging. The data are used to administer the service.
- Essential marketing techniques.
- The Operator uses statistical analysis of the website traffic via Google Analytics (Google Inc., USA). The Operator does not transmit personal data to the operator of this service, but only anonymised information. The service is based on the use of cookies on the User’s terminal device. With regard to the information on user preferences collected by the Google advertising network, the User can view and edit the information resulting from the cookies using a tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/.
- The operator uses a solution to study User behavior by creating heat maps and recording behavior on the site. This information is anonymized before it is sent to the operator of the service so that the operator does not know which natural person it concerns. In particular, typed passwords and other personal data are not recorded.

- The website uses cookies.
- Cookies are computer data, in particular text files, which are stored in the Service User’s terminal equipment and are intended for use on the websites of the Service. Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they come, the time of storing them on the terminal equipment and a unique number.
- The entity placing cookies on the Website User’s terminal equipment and accessing them is the Website operator.
- Cookies are used for the following purposes:
- maintaining a session of the Service user (after logging), thanks to which the user does not have to re-enter login and password on each subpage of the Service,
- to achieve the objectives set forth above under the heading “Significant Marketing Techniques”.
- There are two main types of cookies used within the Service: “session” (session cookies) and “permanent” (persistent cookies). Session” cookies are temporary files that are stored in the final device of the User until logging out, leaving the website or switching off software (web browser). “Permanent” cookies are stored in the final device of the User for the time specified in the parameters of cookies or until they are deleted by the User.
- Web browsing software (Internet browser) usually allows by default to store cookies on User’s end device. Service Users can change their settings in this regard. - Restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some of the functionality available on the Website.
- Cookies placed in the final device of the Service User may also be used by entities cooperating with the Service Operator, in particular these companies: Google (Google Inc. based in the USA), Facebook (Facebook Inc. based in the USA), Twitter (Twitter Inc. based in the USA).
